This webinar intends to enhance your knowledge of permit review expectations for both permitted and discretionary use applications, and best practices for consistent permit implementation. Learn tips and tricks for manual permit reviews, and how technology can increase permit review efficiency and assist Development Officers with ratepayers, Council and other referral agencies. 

Have your local bylaws ready, as instructors will integrate your local bylaws into course content so that you feel more comfortable using your municipal bylaws daily. 

After completing this course, you will be able to:

  2. Recognize, your role as Development Officers and the role this has in community development.

  3. Streamline, workflows through increased processes, procedures either manually or through technology to make the role of Development Officers easier.

  5. Increase, confidence advising Councils on land use planning and development decisions in your local community.

The online webinar session will cost $500 per person and will be virtually hosted on Microsoft Teams. An email will be provided a few days prior to the event containing a link to join the online meeting, which can be done directly through your web browser.
